Apple iMac Computer
The Apple iMac Computer was first announced in 1998, and was given a designation of "G3" when produced in a CRT-based model at that time.
The "G4" was an LCD-based model, and the "G5" finally placed all the components immediately behind the monitor.
After the G-series, all iMac's were based on Intel computer chips, and this is what all current models are based upon.
